PAX Prime was the place to be (I’m jealous I wasn’t there) with some major players there to show off some cool games. Microsoft had apparently promised some “surprises” before the convention, and obviously a Titanfall demo was one of them. Many people got their hands on some play time, and everyone is spreading fantastic word about this next-gen game.
One cool thing is the fact that the demo emphasized just how multiplayer-centric it would be. It follows the FPS trend, allowing players to choose and customize loadouts and Titans. The action in-game looks amazing, with players able to move around the map by double jumping, wall runnning, and more. It’s entirely possible to get from one side of the map to the other without ever touching the ground.
Titanfall is slated for a 2014 release for Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC.
