Roku, known for its series of streaming boxes, now plans on integrating its program to smart TVs. Announced at CES, new smart TVs of various sizes (ranging from 32″ to 55″) will be equipped with Roku software which will allow both streaming and cable TV to exist in one clean interface. Controlled by either a smartphone app or a newly customized remote, Roku TVs will have access to 1,200 channels and services such as Netflix, VUDU, Hulu Plus, YouTube, and Pandora. While no pricing has been announced, Roku has revealed that Roku TVs will hit shelves this fall.
