Microtransactions have begun to fill the experience of video games, particularly the FPS scene with games like Call of Duty offering gun camos for real money. Many people wondered if microtransactions would affect Titanfall, not only with cosmetic options, but play-to-win abilities which seem to plague certain genres. When asked on Twitter, Respawn immediately shot down the idea of the inclusion of microtransactions.

This may come as awesome news to people interested in pushing Titanfall into a more competitive scene, forcing players to devote time and effort in order to grow skill instead of purchasing upgrades to make their gameplay better. However, people interested in new colors and cosmetic options may be disappointed. No other information, particularly about the addition of a season pass, has been revealed.
