In the midst of the anticipated Call of Duty XP, Activision revealed the trailer for Infinite Warfare’s multiplayer, highlighting some of the futuristic details that made me yawn. I’m sure the trailer generated some hype while people took a break from XP’s competitive energy, however, most of the anticipation has revolved around Modern Warfare Remastered.

Gone is the excitement that once surrounded the packed features and futuristic qualities. Remaining are cravings of simplicity and the fun that once surrounded the classic “boots on ground” gameplay. While Infinite Warfare boasts brand new features, more wall running, and futuristic weapons, perks, and maps, Modern Warfare Remastered is overshadowing the new with the old by reintroducing all 16 original multiplayer maps.
It sounds like a massive dose of nostalgia is exactly what is needed.
