Capcom revealed in its latest earnings report that it has a “major unannounced title” coming sometime before March 2024, but it’s anyone’s guess as to what that title may be. Some wonder if it could be related to one of Capcom’s two biggest franchises: Monster Hunter or Resident Evil, but beyond its earnings report, nothing official has been publicly stated.

In Capcom’s Q&A Summary, it was stated that, “in the second half of the year, in addition to currently unannounced major titles, we plan to release Gyakuten Saiban 456 Odouki Selection in January. In addition to these efforts, we aim to achieve our full-year plan by continuing to expands sales of new titles released in the first half, such as Street Fighter 6.”

With The Game Awards approaching in December, there is always a possibility that this new “major unannounced title” may be announced, but for now the mystery remains.

Fans of Capcom titles will be happy to note that the company is on track to earn 11 consecutive years of operating income growth after a positive first half of the fiscal year. Street Fighter 6 holds the medal for Capcom’s best-selling game during the first six-month period, which has surpassed 2.47 million units since its June release.

Resident Evil, Capcom’s top-selling franchise, has reached over 150 million sales, with the Resident Evil 4 remake selling over 5.45 million copies since its release in March.
